The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a leadership-focused summer experience for students ages 13–15 who are interested in growing as leaders and future counselors. Rooted in Biblical principles, the program intentionally blends hands-on camp experience, faith formation, and mentorship in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
CITs learn how camp works while developing responsibility, communication, and servant-leadership skills. Throughout the week, participants engage in devotions and faith-based discussions, receive daily coaching and reflection time, and are guided by mentor counselors and a dedicated CIT Coordinator. CITs assist with activities and campers, but are never placed in charge of groups or large activities.
In addition to leadership training, CIT schedules include time to participate in and enjoy camp activities, ensuring a fun and balanced experience. CITs also have the option to receive CPR certification if they do not already have a valid certificate, with the cost included in the program fee.
Registration for this schedule starts on 03/09/2026 and ends on 06/29/2026
Participants must be 13 years to 15 years old when the program starts.
